Dose Saving
1 g Active Zinc Oxide Detomaso® has an area of approximately 60m².
However, the ratio of zinc oxide is 7-8m²/g. This allows for a reduction of up to 50% in the dosage level in rubber compounds compared to zinc oxide.
Fineness
The particle size is 10 times smaller compared to zinc oxide (under a microscope).
Thanks to this expertise, it mixes easily and homogeneously, and disperses completely.
At the same time, it provides brighter and smoother surface results for the final product.
Transparency
Makes the color deeper and brighter.
Gives excellent results in transparent products.
Lightness
Since the bulk density is 30% lower than zinc oxide, it allows for the production of lighter products at the same density.
With regard to rubber products sold by volume and number, it is possible to produce more products using the same weight of the compound.
Compounds and Flexible Aging Retardation
According to the test results compared, the fatigue cracking resistance of the active zinc oxide plates shows 30% better results.
Process Safety and Return
As can be seen from the rheometer curves, it shows that the vulcanization curves rise more slowly than zinc oxide but quickly reach full vulcanization level after rising.
Delays scorching; provides process safety and flexibility.
Ensures continuity in product quality; reduces the use of non-economic retardants thanks to this expertise.
Allows the use of more economical accelerators like MBT and MBTS.
Heavy Metal Ratio
The heavy metal ratio is 10 times less than zinc oxide.
